# Visit to IISC for GitHub event.

Had an incredible day at [Indian Institute of Science (IISc)](https://www.linkedin.com/company/indian-institute-of-science/) on April 4, 2025, joining the GitHub Fireside Chat with Kyle Daigle, GitHub's COO. The conversation centered on how GitHub Copilot is empowering both current and aspiring developers, paving the way for a future where we aim to reach 1 billion developers. It was particularly inspiring to discuss the pivotal role India plays in driving open-source contributions.
